Terminology
alphabetical
if you know your horses, this may be overlooked

B A S I C

GENDER
Colt = Male baby horse
Filly = Female baby horse
Foal = Baby horse
Mare = A female horse
Stallion = A male horse, able to breed
Steed = A male horse, able to breed
Stud = A male horse, able to breed

COLOUR
Albino = A white horse with pinky around eyes and skin
Bay = Many different shades of bay, but generally a rich brown colour, fading to black sometimes on parts of the body
Buckskin = A yellow/gold body, with a black mane and tail, and lower legs.
Chestnut = Many different shades, a dark red or reddish brown.
Cremello = A creamy colour, with shading on the legs. Usually with blue eyes.
Dapple Gray = A gray horse, with darker, circular, marking on parts, or covering it’s body.
Dun = Close to a buckskin, Duns are yellow/gold, dorsal stripes are common.
Grulla = This is a dark, Smokey colour, almost like a mouse.
Palomino = A shade of yellow and gold, with cream mane and tail.
Pinto = A colour mixed with white, which make big markings all over, like black and white, or brown and white, sometimes even gold and white.
Roan = Blue roan, red road, bay roan. A colour speckled and mixed with white hairs.
Sorrel = Like a chestnut, with a matching mane and tail.

RANDOM
Aureate = Gold
Azrak = Blue
Beta Mare = Third in command, she helps the lead mare, and if lead mare dies, will replace her.
Bethel = Sacred area or sanctuary
Bottom Horses = The bottom of the totem poll, not valuable to the herd, bossed around. Usually have done something bad to get there.
Desolate = Barren
Forcebred/Forcebreed = When a stallion forces a mare to breed with him.
Gila Monster = A desert lizard. Venomous, but not deadly to full grown horses.
Heir = A colt or stallion, that after the current Lead Stallion dies, will take over leadership.
Jauzi = Brown
Lead Mare = Second in command of the herd.
Lead Stallion = The leader of one of the three ancient herds
Primordial = Existing at or from the very beginning
Rogue Stallion = A stallion whom does not lead a herd, or live in one, and lives in the rogue river.
Ramadi = Gray
Sand Viper = A venomous snake, but not deadly to full grown horses.

ABRIVIATIONS
Affiliate = To have a permanent advertisement banner on another site.
COTM = Character Of The Month, each month, one character will be chosen, by the staff.
IC = When you make a post, as your character
MOTM = Member Of The Month, each month, one member will be chosen, by the staff.
OOC = Out Of Character, when you say something, and you are not your character.
RPG = Role Play Game.
Sig/Siggy = Your signature (what you see at the bottom of every post, and your profile)

God-Moding = When you play another members character, when in a post together.
EX: INCORRECT - "Spot attacked Billy, biting his neck open and kicking his legs out from under him."
CORRECT - "Spot lunged at Billy, opening his jaws to attempt to bite the other horse. He reached his leg back, trying to knock Billy off his feet."
The correct way, allows the other member time to counter the attack, or allow it to happen.
