Personality: At first glance she appears to be an no fun, serious mare. If you look a little closer, you will see it is only her outer exterior, getting to know this older mare, you will find she is really quite kind. She has dry sense of humor, and is often very sarcastic, to the point you do not know whether she is kidding or not. She is very wise, having had a long knowledgeable life, she is keen to share what she knows as well. Though it seems as if there is no room in her rough heart, you are mistaken.
She has a very large soft spot for foals, having never been able to have them herself. Her motherly instincts are still strong and eager. Though she is short for her size, it has only made her stronger. She is very protective of those she loves, and has in the past been laughed at for being so aggressive when standing up for them. It is not until physical battle that the laughter will fade.
Since she is growing older now, she expects to be respected as elderly should. She is sometimes grumpy when joints kick up, but is always ready for a long talk or a companion.
History: She was born in a large British riding school. It was not the most lavish stables around, but it was comfortable enough. He dam was a pleasant old school pony, who did mostly driving and halter stuff. She was weaned very early, and was quickly moved to the main area to be an ornament pony. Her mother was soon retired and sold. She was named “Moosh”, by her main human handler, though she seemed to have many different names. Growing up, she was handled by countless humans, and found their dialect very difficult. She had no real equine friends, so she made due with the humans.
She learnt much from them, none of which was handy in the desert. After spending the first five years with the school stable, they closed. She was one of the first to go, and was transported by trailer, then boat. The climate changed quickly once on the boat, and she found it hard to adapt. From the rolling waves to the humid air, she had a terrible trip.
Stepping off the boat, instead of lush greens and cloudy sky, she saw with surprise, red, yellow, orange, and sun. Rock? Dirt? She didn’t know what she was walking on, she didn’t know anything.
She was then transported to a very grand palace, with smooth stone floors and walls. It was colorful and large. She wore no halter or lead once inside, and was aloud to roam with other small ponies. Across the yard, sectioned by large stone fences, larger horses roamed, and beside them larger yet. She again made no friends, still being different then the rest, but very used to it by now. While in this pen, she learned of a large “Release”. Something she did not understand fully, but was eager to find out. She spent another year here, the harsh climate difficult for her.
When she was almost 7, she was moved again. The purest, most exotic and colorful horses and ponies moved with her. They had all been cleaned, and groomed to perfection the day before, and now wore colorful halters and leads. Humans in strange robe attire led them.
After much time parading through the city, they reached it’s limits. What she saw, was, nothing. Flat expansion, with bland mountainous mounds in the distance. Before she could gain knowledge, she was released. The horses and ponies stood stunned for a moment, this was strange. When all at once, the ground between the humans and horses erupted into flames. They leapt to the sky, frightening the horses so bad, that they all flew off into the desert, scattering.
Eventually, she discovered Jauzi, where she made her home at the age of 8.
